Very cute antique Essex Crystal cat earrings dating from the Victorian period, circa 1880. The subject has been reverse carved into a rock crystal dome, and hand painted with a tabby cat. The cats have their little tongues sticking out and wide eyes, which I think is pretty cute. They're mounted on mother of pearl panels and are crafted in 18k yellow gold. Converted from cufflinks.
