One-of-a-kind Vintage The Meatmen "wilson Centre" Marginal Man Flyer Add To Cart [M92OGuyP]
The Meatmen are a hardcore band from Michigan founded in 1981. They were one of the bands involved in the earliest USHC scene, leading the charge for the midwest and Michigan with bands like Negative Approach and Necros who mostly released their records through the Touch And Go label. The Meatman are fronted by Tesco Lee who notably wrote the amazing Touch And Go Fanzine. The band was outrageous and purposefully offensive. On Saturday October 13, 1984, The Meatmen played in Washington, DC with a bunch of great local bands: the post-Artificial Peace band Marginal Man, northern Virginia weirdos United Mutation (with a typo on the flyer), and the more-melodic Gray Matter. This original Meatmen flyer, in great condition with some light staining and tape residue on the corners, is from the band's show at DC's Wilson Center with Marginal Man, United Mutation, and Gray Matter in 1984.
