Overall, the Haier Chromebook 11 is an impressive and cheap Chromebook. It boots up within 8 seconds, and has auto-updates built-in, so you can get the latest virus protection and the latest features, hassle-free (this is common in almost all ChromeOS devices). The high performance quad core Rockchip processor (Cortex A17) gives you the power for all your tabs and tasks. The Haier Chromebook is powered by a new chip called the Rockchip RK3288 which consumes very little power yet can deliver adequate performance to ChromeOS. This is the same chip that powers the ASUS Chromebook Flip Web pages load up quickly with little lag, and it performs well on YouTube and other video streaming sites. The Chrome “Octane” test has the Haier running only slightly behind more expensive offerings running Intel and Nvidia chipsets. Considering the overall price, the Haier is an excellent value for those looking for a budget Chromebook.
