The vase has a combination of red and blue crystals on a tan background. These crystals actually GROW during the firing and cooling process! No two pieces are ever alike. The vase was handmade on the potters wheel from porcelain clay by Lindsey. It was fired to over 2300 F in an electric kiln. The vase was fired a third time after the initial glaze firing in a gas kiln to create the red colors.

It would look great as a centerpiece on your table, on an entryway table or any other place you'd like to feature it! The pictures do not fully capture the depth of the glaze- it is truly brilliant. Hints of ruby accent the vase in the crystals and areas of the background.
