Describtion

The BM300 is a medium-capacity bi-metallic steam trap, designed for applications such as drip trapping on superheated steam mains and steam supply lines, as well as on saturated steam lines and steam tracing systems. Its bi-metallic design subcools condensate before releasing it, ensuring energy-efficient operation and minimizing steam loss. Constructed from forged carbon steel, the BM300 features a fully repairable internal mechanism, allowing maintenance without removing the trap body from the line. This makes it highly practical and service-friendly. As a thermostatic trap, it is compact and lightweight with excellent air discharge capabilities, which allows it to also serve as a low-capacity air vent. This feature is particularly useful at system start-up, enabling quick purging of air so that steam can fill the system efficiently. The trap incorporates a robust bi-metal element that is highly resistant to water hammer, ensuring long-lasting performance even in demanding conditions. Additionally, the hardened plug is back-seated, functioning as an internal check valve.
