Sewing Workshop: Drawstring Bags for Beginners

Entry Level Class—No experience necessary

Learn your way around a sewing machine while you unleash your inner designer. Whether you need a project pouch for all those craft supplies, a travel bag to add to your luggage, or an upgrade for your sack lunch, why not make it all your own? Craft a very useful bag while you become best buds with your sewing machine!

We'll have a variety of fabrics to choose from, ranging in colors, patterns and texture. Students will also have access to a large stash of ribbon, rope, cords, and toggles to finish off their bags.

Please bring your own sewing machine if you wish to learn on your own equipment or borrow a studio machine. Please select your preference when you checkout.

About the Instructor: Angela Zachary, a third-generation textile hand-crafter with over two decades of teaching experience, finds pure joy in crafting and fostering community. Her passion for creating is fostered out of a love for sustainability, and learning to slow down.
