Manufactured in the UK from galvanised steel to provide a rust-resistant life, the Tidy bin features a robust pedal and lid mechanism for strength and a fixed body design which offers years of trouble-free life. The bin features rounded edges and hygienic white surfaces for easy cleaning.

The lid is hands free meaning the pedal must be used to open the lid which promotes hygiene in the workplace. The bag is positively positioned into the bin using a metal retainer on the frame. The bag does not interfere with the lid and allows the lid to fully close with the bag in place ensuring the hands-free system is maintained.

Meeting the requirements of Healthcare Technical Memorandum 07-01 - Safe Management of Healthcare Waste, the range has a coloured lid system suitable for surgeries, hospitals and healthcare establishments. They also meet HTM05-03 Managing Healthcare Fire Safety. They would be considered to meet the requirements of CQC if the correct lid colour was selected for the appropriate area.

Cleaning can be undertaken using standard surgery and hospital cleaning materials including hypochlorite at 10 000ppm solution.

All bins feature rear wheels and rubber feet at the front to prevent the floor being marked.
