Our largest handheld spyglass telescope requires an adult's full arm extension to hold.  This large solid brass telescope is 35 1/2 inches (90.3 cm) long when fully extended, and is 12 inches (30.5 cm) long when collapsed.  The non-inverting four-pipe telescopes has bright 5-element ground glass optics with a powerful 20-power view.  It is heavy solid brass and weighs 3 pounds, 9 ounces (1.6 kg).  The telescope is 2 1/2-inches (6.4 cm) in diameter with a 52 mm diameter ground glass objective len.  A built-in sunshade extends to reduce lens flare.

The Stanley London® 35-inch Spyglass Telescope comes complete with a beautiful hardwood case.  The box is fully lined with dark green felt and the corners are inlaid with lighter hardwood splines.  An oval brass plate on the top of the case is inlaid flush with the surface.  The case measures 12 3/4 inches (32.4 cm) long, 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm) deep, 3 3/8 inches (8.6 cm) tall, and weighs 1 pound, 9 ounces (710 grams).  Custom engraving directly on the telescope near the eyepiece or custom engraved brass plaques for the outside or inside of the case are also available.  When requesting engraving directly on the telescope, we suggest engraving full names rather than monograms or initials due to the large width of the engravable area.
