Gorgeous poster depicting his 1951 artwork "Nude With Oranges", this poster was created to promote an exhibition of the great Henri Matisse at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark. Running from January to April 1985, the exhibition contained many of the artists great works.

Born 1869, Matisse is best known as a French artist, known for both his use of colour and his fluid and original draughtsmanship. He was a draughtsman, printmaker, and sculptor, but is known primarily as a painter. Matisse is commonly regarded as one of the artists who best helped to define the revolutionary developments in the visual arts throughout the opening decades of the twentieth century, responsible for significant developments in painting and sculpture. This wonderful poster is a 2021 later edition and is in mint condition.
