Back To School One-hour Kayak Demonstrations - Why Pay More? [hKmU0wA8]

We do schedule free kayak demo days periodically within Brunswick County which are open to the public. These events will typically feature 2-3 kayak models best suited for general paddling. We recommend these events for those just interested in trying a kayak to see if it’s something they would enjoy. 

If you’d like to try a specific kayak we encourage you to schedule an actual appointment. Yakworks Kayak of Southport is available on Sundays and Mondays to demo the kayaks we sell.  These sessions are billed at $60.00 per kayak model which is able to be applied towards the purchase of your kayak within 7-days of the demonstration date. We can bring up to 3 kayaks for demonstrations. Be sure to select the quantity of kayaks you would like to demo and then proceed to our checkout page.

Each demonstration will last 1 hour and will be one-on-one with a Yakworks staff member.  We will bring the kayak you are interested in as well as life-vests and paddles.  Demonstrations will be limited to within eye-sight range of the kayak launch point.  We will try to accommodate your chosen demo time but may have to adjust for tide cycles. The time will be confirmed at least 48-72 hours prior to the demo day.

NOTE: Demo dates may need to be cancelled and rescheduled dependent on the weather conditions and possibly the tide cycle at the selected time.  Any small craft warnings in effect the day of demo will require a cancellation for safety reasons.  If we have to cancel your appointment and we are not able to reschedule another time, we will refund the charge within 24-hours of cancellation.
