A real treasure, as far as vintage tin wind-up toys go! This is a 1939 Marx Toy Company "Pinocchio The Acrobat Watch Him Go!" tin lithograph wind-up toy. The base rocks back and forth when the key is wound, and the little Pinocchio figure attached by a flat metal band swings back and forth and upside down. The toy is in excellent original condition, with colorful graphics. We would rate this toy a C-8. There is expected wear on corners and edges, with light dirt and a few surface scratches on Pinocchio, from age and play. The toy is in excellent working condition. The base is marked on one side with the Marx Toy logo of the period, and the 1939 Walt Disney Productions copyright logo.
