Vintage Seiko Chronos Watch 5H23-7D40 produced in 1991 in a sleek round stainless steel case with white silver dial and black numerals. This is a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market Model) with Kanji/English day display. This concerns model SBMF013 from the 1990 Seiko catalogue, which cost ¥14,300 at the time.

Watch was produced in the Suwa factory, as can be seen by the Suwa swirl at 6 o'clock.

Watch was fitted with a new battery in November 2024 and works great, both setting time and quick-setting the day and date. The watch, case and strap have been ultrasonically cleaned and are therefore completely neat again. It comes on an adjustable new aftermarket mesh bracelet.
