Description & Inspiration:

X Marks the spot was the result of a commission for my boys' mom who's primary request was to create something with them that encapsulates their hearts and minds. 

After chatting a bit, she described what colors and various styles she like in existing pieces. Then it was just a matter of discussing it with my boys, practicing and planning it out together, and then creating it! This was a lot of fun to make and it was awesome to teach my boys and let them get their hands dirty (with love and guidance). Which culminated in this really fun piece!
