As of May 21st 2024, the City of Fountain Valley has increased public notification to 1000' feet. All exising projects will need to be updated from 500 feet to 1000 feet. All new projects will need to notice 1000 feet owners and occupants.

Property Owners and Occupants List and Map:

Property Owners and Occupants List in an Excel Spreadsheet on a CD. The Spreadsheets must contain fields for the Assessor Parcel Number (APN), Name, Address, City, State and Zip Code of property within a radius of one thousand (1000) feet of the exterior boundaries of the subject property.

For projects fronting on major arterials (e.g. Brookhurst, Slater) the 1000 foot radius shall not include the width of the adjacent right-of-way and shall be measured entirely from the opposite side of the street.

A printed copy of the Excel Spreadsheets.

A map illustrating the one thousand (1000) foot radius boundary and all parcels within that radius (see sample map on page 16 of city packet). This information shall be obtained from the latest Orange County equalized assessment roll and utilizing the most recent assessor’s map(s). 

A Letter of Affidavit included with the above list of names and addresses, properly filled out and notarized, certifying the above names and addresses are as shown on the latest available assessment roll of Orange County.
