This stubby, single concave with our unique ergonomic hand fit is a beauty. It's made from a variety of offcut and reclaimed woods. Teak, poplar, Doug Fir and mahogany all come from leftover cabinet construction. And, we've used pine from an old 2x4 and yellow cedar from a fence board found in the municipal dump in Santa Cruz, California. It has a glassy, polyurethane finish resin. The hand strap is made with nylon covered with off-cuts from Hotline Wetsuit production. The hardware is solid brass. We're especially proud of the wood re-use on this plane. You'll love it, too.
