Modern Design Red Rose Teardrop Handplane Solution [MgFLXr6H]

This beautiful, tear drop handplane is made from sustainably grown spruce and rosewood offcuts from the production of Santa Cruz Guitar Company guitars. We've also incorporated redwood floor boards from the historic, Schwan Mansion built in the 1800s in Santa Cruz, California. Abalone inlay at the tail completes the package.

The hand strap is made with nylon and covered with offcuts from O'Neill Wetsuit product development, and the wood is shaped with our unique, ergonomic hand fit. The hardware is solid brass. 

You only need a single handplane on your leading arm for a great ride every time! This is a terrific conversation piece and bodysurfs like a dream.

The Santa Cruz Guitar Company is a member of the Ventana Upcycle Partner Program. The company was founded in 1976 and brought boutique guitar making to the forefront of the steel string guitar business. They have created custom guitars for some of the top names in the music industry: Eric Clapton, Elvis Costello, Dick Dale, Jimmy Buffet, Johnny Cash and hundreds of others.
