This 6'6' Down Rail surfs fast and smooth on any sized wave. It's our most popular shape, and you'll want to keep this beauty indoors to display after each session.

The redwood is old growth from floorboards reclaimed from the historic Schwan mansion in Santa Cruz, California. The wood was milled here in the late 1800s and is over one thousand years old. The lighter wood is cedar offcuts from a cabinet shop, and the lightest color wood is reclaimed Douglas fir.

It has a single fin made from redwood burl driftwood, ash, and Doug fir. There is abalone inlay at tip and tail, and the nose and tail blocks are both made from redwood burl driftwood. Like all Ventana boards, this one is glassed with Entropy Bio Resin and uses two sheets of 4-ounce fiberglass cloth on the top and one on the bottom.
