Euphorbia meloformis An amazing variegated form of this uncommonly seen species related to E. obesa. The plant is compact, rounded with ridges. The most distinctive aspect of the plant are the woody thorns that develop from old flower stalks. They are bent and remind me a lot of deer antlers! The variegation is nicely alternating bands of yellow and green. Under high light it gets pink highlights. Easy to grow but much slower than the normal all green form.  Treat it like a small cactus.  Protect from frost.
