Adenium arabicum 'Black Skin'  A beautiful new cultivar with a dark brown to purple (black) skin. Aside from the color, this variety is known for having a short stocky caudex and many short branches.  It produces large roots that can be raised when the plant is larger. Flowers are pink. Can become quite large in time. Easy to grow, but requires warm temperatures in the winter (minimum of 50 degrees).  When in leaf water regularly but don't let the soil stay wet.  Keep fairly dry in the winter or whenever it drops its leaves. Likes full sun in humid regions (i.e Eastern US) but protect from hot afternoon summer sun in arid areas.

Skin color varies between individuals (they are seed grown) and depends on light levels. More sun gives darker skin.

You will receive the plant shown in the images.   Plant shown in a 7"diameter pot. Your plant may or may not have flowers or leaves when you receive it.

4. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
