Handmade ceramic "Monstera Leaves" are an original design.

These pieces are individually handmade, kiln fired ceramic. They are all one-of-a-kind. They are not molded/poured ceramics. They hang beautifully on the wall and can also sit on a table. The footed design allows the piece to sit or hang flat on most surfaces. Each piece is hand sculpted, carved, and glazed by the artist in her Kansas City studio.

Nicknamed the “swiss cheese plant”, the Monstera deliciosa is famous for its natural leaf holes. These holes are theorized to maximize sun fleck capture on the forest floor. These ceramic originals capture the beauty of these tropical plants and we love to see the shadows they throw onto the wall.
