This is a pair of ‘Airport’ Chairs, Model AP38, designed by Hans J. Wegner for A.P. Stolen in 1958. The design is named after Copenhagen's Kastrup Airport, though it was not specifically designed for use there. The chairs have frames of stainless steel. They have been newly reupholstered in a fine brown leather.
Each chair measures 27.5 inches deep, 23.5 inches wide, and 30.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 15.75 inches. The polished steel legs have some scant scratches, and the new leather upholstery is in excellent condition. Overall, this pair of chairs is in very good condition. Please see photos.
