This is a Square Coffee Table, Model TA-2, designed by Davis Allen under the leadership of Gordon Bunshaft within SOM. It’s possible that Nicos Zographos played a role in the execution of this, though the detailing is more typical of Davis Allen's work due to the perfectly sharp corners. This sophisticated table has a highly polished stainless-steel base, and has a high-quality granite table top. SOM produced hundreds of their own furniture designs during the 1950s to 1980s. This was a classic example.

The table measures 30 inches in length and width, and is 16.25 inches high. The polished stainless-steel base is in good condition with little wear apparent, perhaps a few light scuffs and scratches. The granite top has no chips or cracks. Overall, this table is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
