Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific RR Tickets Antique Jalousie Glass Sign. Imagine, if you will, a rectangular glass sign with a glossy black background. Etched in gold, the letters are elegantly spaced and appear to stand out from the dark background. This reverse painted glass sign is made of antique Jalousie glass. There might be some minor nicking around the edges from the cutting process and some minor scratching which can be touched up with black paint. This sign was probably made in the 1960s and has become hard to find these days.
