When people talk about the 4-4-4-4, it’s very rare to hear anything about any other locomotive than the PRR T1. The B&O was the only other railroad to own a locomoveit with this unique whyte notation. It was experimental, painted a shade of royal blue, and would pull many of the premier passenger trains including ‘The Royal Blue’.
