I have received a huge batch of First Day Cover (FDC) postage stamp collections, which I plan to sell as part of my second family business dealing in arts. We have been in this business for over 70 years.

As someone in the language teaching and textbook publishing business, I have a good sense of the real value of postage stamps, especially First Day Cover (FDC). The descriptions in Bahasa Malayu and English that accompany these stamps make for interesting reading. The real value of this batch of postage stamps lies in their cultural significance, as they represent the form and development of a new nation, its people, and its food. I have spent two months carefully going through and scanning all the FDC, which number around 3,000 and cover Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China. In total, I have 9,880 pictures and 11.2 GB of data.
