The DIY (Do It Yourself) Fin & Rudder Adapter is the base for every other Bixpy Adapter for J-1 Motors, so it makes the perfect DIY Adapter. You can use this adapter to custom build your own Bixpy Ready fin or rudder.  

This is also the adapter you will need for Bixpy Ready components from other manufacturers - Example: Vibe Bixpy-Ready Gravity Rudder will require this adapter to fit the Bixpy J-1 Motor. 

If you need to mount the motor to a flat surface, you can add the Flat Surface Bracket for a flat mount. In addition to this DIY adapter, we also offer a DIY adapter for ThruHull™ adapter for installation on various kayaks' dry pods and storage pods.
