Ultisil UHPLC AQ-C18 utilizes 1.8-μm high-purity silica and can withstand pressures up to 15,000 psi. It is designed to withstand 100%–0% aqueous environments. It features a polar group as the endcapping reagent, with moderate carbon loading and low alkyl chain bonding density, offering moderate retention. Compared to XB-C18, it has a weaker ability to adsorb impurities. This column is ideal for the analysis of polar samples, such as water-soluble vitamins, amino acids, and other hydrophilic compounds.
