This Howards Cams CL123315-08 BBC Hydraulic Roller Camshaft and Lifter Kit is designed for 396-502 cubic inch Big Block Chevy engines from 1965 through 1996. Howards designed this cam for hot street performance, and it features great low & mid-range power and a mild idle. A 9.5:1+ compression ratio, an aftermarket/ported intake, headers, lower rear end gears, a 2400+ stall speed torque converter, and good exhaust are highly recommended.
