This Howards Cams 111013-06S SBC Small Base Circle Steel Billet Solid Roller Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1955-1998. Howards designed this cam for oval track & bracket cars and it features strong mid-range torque with a rough idle. A 10.0:1 or higher compression ratio as well as a 4000+ stall speed torque converter come highly recommended.

Howards recommends Small Base Circle camshafts in stroker engines to provide adequate rod bolt clearance while the engine is rotating.
