This Comp Cams 12-678-4 SBC Xtreme Energy Mechanical Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/strip applications, and it features good low-end torque and a rough idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, headers, gears and a 2800+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
