2'x2' Aluminum Base Plate is part of the MR TRUSS  square truss system for building temporary structures at events where a DJ needs to mount lights, speakers, etc. The base plate mounts to the bottom of a square 12" truss, providing a more stable flat surface to support the structure. Used to support a truss column. The base plate is used to distribute the vertical load; the larger the footprint of the base plate will help prevent the truss from tipping over.
