Featuring a bold, stylized silhouette with a sleek gloss Vintage Cherry finish, this model blends eye-catching vintage aesthetics with modern playability and reliability.

The Platypus features a solid mahogany body and a glued-in SlimTaper™ mahogany neck for exceptional resonance and fast, comfortable play. A rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and a 12" radius ensures smooth bends and articulate fretting across all 22 medium jumbo frets. The modified six-in-line Platypus-style headstock not only evokes retro charm but also enhances tuning stability with its straight string pull and Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners.
