Original Item. Only One Available. The Flak 30 (Flugzeugabwehrkanone 30) and improved Flak 38 were 20 mm anti-aircraft guns used by various German forces throughout World War II. It was not only the primary German light anti-aircraft gun, but by far the most produced German artillery piece throughout the war.  It was produced in a variety of models, notably the Flakvierling 38 which combined four Flak 38 autocannons onto a single carriage. As with all deactivated ordnance, this item is not available for export.

This German 20mm AP Incendiary round is still in its original shipping tube. There are many markings across the projectile and on the base of the shell. The solid head is marked auy6h 42 148g (Waffenamt) WaA14 / Ph. The Ph indicates this as an incendiary Phosperous round. This example has a solid head and does not have a fuze tip. The bottom of the casing is marked 43 (Waffenamt) 78a eej. These markings date the piece to 1943. The shipping tube lacks any markings. The shell and tube are in fantastic condition, and are perfect for any German WWII display. The round meaures roughly 9”.

The Flak 38 gun was used singularly or in the Quad Vierling 38 mount as an anti-aircraft weapon. The brass cartridge case is percussion primed and retains most of the original lacquer. This is a phenomenal piece with clear markings, don’t miss it.
