This reproduction of a British Highlander Regimental Officer’s sword has a blade of tempered high carbon steel which is richly embellished in the motifs and regalia of the British Empire. At the base of the blade on a single side is an inset brass star - a proof of quality mark for this 19th century style sword.
The basket hilt is made from steel which is lined with stiffened red velvet and adorned with blue ribbons. The wood grip is tightly wrapped in leather and accented with twisted steel wire. The scabbard is steel with steel hanging rings.
