Festive Deal Longrow 21 Year Limited Release Single Malt Scotch Collection [F5IAlkrp]

First distilled in 1973, Longrow is the heavily peated, twice-distilled single malt from Springbank distillery, one of three produced there. Less than 150 barrels of Longrow are filled each year. The 21 year expression is a new addition to their permanent lineup, and this first edition of it was matured in Sherry casks (60%) and bourbon casks (40%) and bottled at Springbank's standard 46% abv. 

On the nose there is smoke immediately, classic dirty Springbank farmyard, old toolbox, bright tropical fruits, vegetal wisps, leather, tobacco and a honeyed sweet kiss. On the palate the brooding dark elements dominate at first: More leather, smoldering peat, and tobacco. But that wave suddenly recedes and revealed beneath are juicy tropical fruits, lovely oak spice, and creamy milk chocolate. Finish is genuinely long with peat and smoke, elegant oak spices, and honey.
