This cabinet has solid steel panels and fire insulation that protects each drawer. The insulation material was tested in extreme conditions to ensure heat resistance on the inside.

The filing system was placed in a burn chamber that exceeded 1700 degrees F. The inside temperature never rose above 350 degrees F, sufficient for paper documents.
