No special tools, no epoxy and no time-consuming hand polishing required, so installation takes just minutes. Strip the buffer, cleave and insert the fiber into the FastCAM Connector, release the factory installed wedge clip and you have an immediate, low insertion loss connection. FastCAM Connectors are available in ST and SC styles to fit 250μm and 900μm cables with standard single-mode and 50μm/62.5μm multimode fiber options. They can be installed virtually anywhere, including all types of premise and fiber-to-the-subscriber applications.
