During the Alpha phase of the game, Star Citizen will be using a currency called aUEC (Alpha United Earth Credits). This is a temporary currency specifically designed for Alpha testing the in-game economy and balance. You can use this Currency for buy/rent Ships/Vehicles and other stuff in-game.

I know that some people does not like, but I want to point 3 things:
- This aUEC's are Legal and NOT from exploits.
- It is also true that if you want a ship, is better try it before spent hundreds of dollars or euros.
