The FlatPack is a purpose-built assaulter pack with over 8-years of direct-action experience in the hands of U.S. and NATO Special Operations Forces. The distinctive zippered expansion system enables the FlatPack to convert from nearly flat when compressed to an additional 150% of storage volume when fully expanded.

The main zippered compartment features a full peel open design for rapid access and visual identification of essential equipment. The interior of the main compartment utilizes VELCRO® Brand loop on the front and rear interior panels to secure the suite of FlatPack Accessories (sold separately) including Small Clear Top Bags, Large Clear Top Bags, Garment Bags and other hook fastened accessories (Single Micro-Utility, Double Micro-Utility, Double Mag Wedge, Holster Wedge, etc.). The main zippered compartment also features an interior zippered hydration/armor compartment designed for carriage of the FlatPack Level IIIA Armor Inserts (Hard Armor and Soft Armor sold separately) or 1-litre hydration bladders for use with the integrated comms/hydration ports. The front of the FlatPack includes a VELCRO® Brand loop field for attachment of signal/ID/patches.

A second full depth zippered compartment is in front of the main zippered compartment providing additional storage and was also dimensioned for carriage of the FlatPack Level IIIA Armor Inserts (Hard Armor and Soft Armor sold separately). A third, admin zippered compartment, is located at the bottom of the pack for storage of smaller items. The FlatPack includes a chest strap to add stability and comfort while under load as well as comms/hydration loops on the shoulder straps, and grommets at the bottom of the main compartment for drainage when operating in wet/humid conditions. If operating under heavier loadouts, the FlatPack Back Pad and FlatPack Shoulder Pads can be added for additional comfort (sold separately).

The FlatPack and FlatPack Plus were disruptively engineered to directly integrate with all Haley Strategic Chest Rigs and Placards (Micro Chest Rig, X Chest Rig, Heavy Chest Rig, TRMP Chest Rig, and MOLLE Placard Chest Rig) by removing the shoulder straps and replacing the chest rig harness with the provided FlatPack Side Straps. The back of the FlatPack features MOLLE/PALS webbing for direct attachment to plate carriers or larger sustainment packs or the FlatPack Piggyback Straps (sold separately) can be purchased for rapid don/doff capabilities when integrating the FlatPack with a plate carrier.

Although designed with the Special Operations end user in mind, the FlatPack makes an excellent everyday pack for civilians (capable of carrying laptops or tablets up to 12”).
