Trending Analog Cerakote Wald Basket: 137 Medium Half Racer (robin's Egg Blue) Holiday Cheer Edition [0jF9mWGn]

Cerakoting is a finish produced by grinding up ancient, priceless ceramic artifacts and adding Rustoleum to the powder.  This mixture is then mixed with equal parts Elmers glue and peach Schnapps and sprayed on by a guy with a penchant for deep cuts by Kansas.   "Father Padilla Meets the Perfect Gnat" and the like.  

Actually Analog Cycles (that's us!) has these cerakoted right here in Poultney (not to be confused with Putney, the lesser of the Vermont P towns ending in 'tney') by our friend Matt at Smith Custom.  He's certified by the cerakote folks, so the coating is consistent and good, like that first Toto album.  

 Full sized Wald baskets are all well and good, for big stuff like hauling 6 kittens around, or potted plant named Amy (she's a Vinca). . But word on the block is they’re a bit tall 'n ponderous for other ultilitizations, like carrying a Squall Sack or a Switchel Sack. Hipsters demanded that Wald started to make this half basket. It’s round about one can of Schaefer lighter than a full basket. Made in the good (debatable!) ole (relatively) US of A. 

What's a Wald 137 Half Basket actually good for?  I use mine to organize those endless census forms the government keeps mailing me.  I have 3 bins.  'Not gunna respond', 'Don't have time to respond', and 'I'm planning on filling this out but am going to forget'.  I have Mark pick a random number between one and 3 and I file the letter in the appropriate basket.  It's been working well for a few years.  

I also use this jammer for a bit of light bikepacking (Simple Squall, Pat Mat), commuting to work year round, hardware store runs, trips to the book store, looking cool at Stewart's, picking up snow seal at Mart's, kibble runs for Big Rawr and Mochi, and finally, hauling NOS Zima to solstice barbeques.
