This character carries a lot of charm and is even more appealing as a hand puppet! Its large glass eyes and hand-stitched nose, give this puppy an endearing expression that is truly adorable. This toy is very special also because it retains the early button with capital letters, dating Molly between 1936-43. Like other toys of the time, this puppet was finely handcrafted in Germany and uses the nicest materials. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This pre-war hand puppet has been well loved and shows lots of play wear, gained during its decades of life. There are stains, soiling, loss of mohair and a mouth stitch coming out.
