About the artist

The creative process for me has always been very emotional. The goal for my pieces is to communicate an intimate message to others and to connect with people on a personal level.

Early on in my career as an artist I found that by not outwardly assigning a meaning or purpose to a painting allowed people to really make a connection with the piece. Something very rewarding to me as an artist is hearing "I don't normally like art but this really speaks to me". Art is both a conversation between the viewer and the artist.
