Von Merlin wheels are sized and shaped for the technical aspects of rhythm skating in the current era. Small radius edges for smooth transitions, centered riding surface for full control, along with various sizes that are perfect for middle floor 'spot skating' or smooth gliding on the outer floor fast lane. 

DOTS are also stone ground, giving you a smooth running surface and requiring less 'break-in' time from wheel mold release.
