The Revolutionary Lady Bird Wrap [must See] [VytqdIUT] by Joji Locatelli is a gorgeous wrap/shawl/scarf that is SO VERSATILE! Below is the description of the project from the designer:

This geometric wrap is worked using four colors of fingering-weight yarn and has a mesmerizing appearance, where all colors integrate with each other.
In every collection, I try to learn and design something completely new, so I experimented with slipped stitches and geometric shapes to create this pattern. The process was a real challenge and my first attempts did not work as I hoped. I got frustrated and, for a moment, thought I would have to give up my idea and design something else. But, after a long night working things out, it all became clear and the project finally flowed.
The Lady Bird wrap is a design I am so proud of. Now that it’s written and the mysteries of this design are solved, it is a stunning (and relatively easy) project. I promise the finished object will be a showstopper.

Yardage requirements for the project, as called for by the designer are:

Sock by Suburban Stitcher (75% Merino /25% Nylon; 460 yds 437 m).
2 skeins in color 1, 1 skein each in colors 2, 3, 4. Approx. 1317 yards 1251 m of fingering-weight yarn: 568 yards 539 m in color 1; 338 yards 321 m in color 2; 205 yards 195 m in color 3 and 205 yards 195 m in color 4.
These yardage requirements account for a 10% buffering taking my sample as reference. If you knit exceptionally loose, then you may want to secure a little bit more yardage.

I am selling these as kits, and because the requirements for skeins 3 and 4 are much smaller, I am kitting them up as 1/2 skeins. Each kit will include 2 full skeins for color 1, 1 full skein for color 2, and 2 50 gram skein for colors 3 & 4.

Hand dyed yarn can very from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. Please take care to purchase enough yarn to complete your project.

Care:

This yarn does contain superwash merino, however, I do always recommend that you hand wash your knitwear. Please use cold or lukewarm water and lay flat to dry. I use colorfast acid dyes for dying my yarn, and rinse until water runs clear. However even with all of this, there is a chance that some dye may bleed slightly in the first wash of your finished item. This is particularly true for highly saturated colors and speckled skeins. Because of this, I do recommend that you wash your items separately, especially for the first couple of washes.
