Funtion: When the engine is not hot enough, the coolant is blocked by the thermostat and will not flow through the engine; once the engine reaches its operating temperature (about 195oF ), the thermostat will open.
Design: This thermostats kit comes with the gaskets with two o-rings. The large one is for the pipe that runs behind the engine, the small one goes on the temp sensor. Integrated design simplifies the operation of replacing the thermostat housing.
Open Temperature: 172.4oF/78u2103(the first thermostat)uff0c203oF/95u2103(the second thermostat).
