The RideTech CoilOver System for the 1964-1966 Mustang includes everything you need to give your vintage Mustang modern drivability. The package contains front upper and lower control arms, drop spindles, steering arms, inner and outer tie rods, front MuscleBar, a Bolt-In 4 Link System and 4 HQ Series CoilOvers for every corner of your vehicle. The benefit of buying a complete suspension system is that it takes all of the guesswork out when purchasing a new suspension. RideTech has spent hours collecting data to find a perfect spring rate and components for your vehicle's performance and ride quality.

Combine this with Wilwood brake kits consisting of specifically engineered & matched groups of components designed to provide superior brake system performance & custom appeal over a wide range of applications.   • Front Upper and Lower StrongArms:
    • What says "performance" more than a set of tubular control arms! After all of the time and effort expended on your ride, you definitely can’t let your stamped oem control arms detract from all that work. Finish your suspension off with these new tubular control arms. Built with all of the care and experience you have come to expect from us, these tubular control arms are a precision-engineered solution for ball joint binding and frame clearance issues that can haunt some vehicles. When you combine the performance benefits with the elegant design of these arms, there is no better choice on the market.
    • Development: StrongArms are developed by Ridetech in Jasper, Indiana, on an actual running, driving vehicle. This allows us to properly address ALL fitment and performance issues. It also allows us to document an installation, demonstrate the installation to our sales techs, and allows ongoing evaluation of the performance of the StrongArms.
    • Design: Ridetech think the best way to design any component is to keep it simple. That is why Strong Arms are designed with as few components as possible. The new 4-axis tubing bender allows precise, repeatable bends that no other machine can achieve. We can create elegant tubing bends that would otherwise require several separate welded components.
      Lower arms feature a unique design that combines the control and strut rod into a stronger, more appealing 1 piece design. Additional caster is designed into the arms and includes a robust bearing in an aluminum housing at the front mount to replace the soft factory rubber units.
    • Components: powder-coated in a satin black finish and completely assembled with ball joints and bushings. To reduce all stiction from the suspension movement, Injection Molded Delrin Bushings are used. These bushings are also impregnated with Teflon, which eliminates the need for lubrication.
    • Geometry: Geometry of a suspension starts with the position of the frame mounts and the height of the spindle, not the shape of the control arm. However, there are a few small things in control arm design that can make a big difference in how a vehicle drives and performs.
      The upper ball joint have been moved back to allow for additional caster setting to improve high speed stability and steering feel.
    • Billet cross shafts are included that feature a lowered mounting point to increase camber gain and correct suspension geometry.
    • They house a stout double sheer lower shock mount.
    • StrongArms are optimized to allow proper camber adjustment at your new lowered ride height without using a large stack of shims.
  • Ridetech's TruTurn System:
    • Includes tall spindles, which induce more negative camber gain to maximize tire contact patch during cornering. It also includes steering arms, center link adapter, tie rods and adjusters to virtually eliminate bump steer, correct Ackerman angle and allow for wider tires
    • Also includes heavy duty frame rail brace, which replaces the factory brace. The heavy duty design reduces flex and provides greater clearance with oil pan and steering components. This brace is not compatible with Shelby steering components because the longer pitman arm and idler arms cause interference

With large 1.834" pistons, heavy-duty 5/8" shafts, and impact forged bodies, HQ Series CoilOvers are built to perform and made to last. They're backed by the Ridetech exclusive 1,000,001 mile warranty. Ridetech develops the shock calibrations and spring rates through thousands of cross-country test miles, on their exclusive test track and at competition events from coast to coast.
