I love to carry little stitching projects with me in my pocket, but didn't have the 'just right' kit to grab and go... so I made a few. This little Latest Model Pocket Sewing Kit Deal Alert: 60% Off [OUT9Su7s] is the perfect size for small stitching projects (like the block-printed stitching kit or the stitch the scene kit) and it comes with all the basics: 2 colors of embroidery floss, natural tussah silk thread, 4 straight pins, 2 sewing needles, 2 french pins, my favorite sharp snips* in a hand stitched wool felt scissor slip, and a seam ripper. The scissors tuck into one side pocket and the second side pocket is for your project.

The kit is machine stitched out of green organic cotton/hemp that was plant-dyed with indigo and weld. The lavender-brown finished edges and ochre ribbon closure (secured with a vintage button) are made of plant-dyed organic cotton/poplin fabric. The pin and needle holder is indigo-dyed wool felt on top of ochre plant-dyed organic cotton/poplin, and the pocket for the seam ripper is made from a dark charcoal wool remnant. The open measurement is 5.5 x 5.25". Closed, the kit measures 5.25 x 3".
