18th C. Chinese Export Famille Rose Mandarin Palette Figures Punch Bowl, 9" DIA
18 世紀中國出口粉彩柑橘調色盤人物潘趣酒碗，9 吋直徑

Lot 394 - Excellent condition. Punch bowl is decorated with two large panel reserves depicting Mandarin figures enjoying leisurely pursuits, and two smaller panel reserves with landscape scenes in iron-red and flanked by two cartouches above and below and two cartouches on each side, all painted with flower sprays in iron red and grisaille. All panel reserves and cartouches are on top of a purple scale pattern ground with iron-red bats interspersed between reserves.
