Kichiji Left-Handed Jo-Saku Yanagiba 270mm Magnolia Wood Octagonal Handle

The translation of Yanagiba is willow leaf edge referring to the distinctive shape which was developed in the Kansai area of Japan during the Edo period. Hammer forged in Yasuki Shirogami-2clad with soft iron with a magnolia and buffalo horn handle. This knife is made in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, renowned to produce single bevel knives.
