The Gastrolux Biotan Plus Non-Stick Wok is a staff and customer favourite for many reasons. The thick, sturdy base, with integrated magnets for induction hobs, retains heat very well, ensuring every piece of your stir-fry stays hot. This also helps protect the non-stick coating from overheating, making it more durable than most standard non-sticks. The removable, stay-cool handle contains no screws or loose parts. With a simple click, you can detach the pan so it can go in the oven (up to 260°C) and attach it back just as easily, no glove required. Every pan is made of recycled cast aluminium and hand-layered with Biotan Plus, a unique PFOA-free non-stick finish that has been reinforced with bio-minerals. Biotan Plus is a coveted trade secret, notable for how easily it releases food, requiring very little oil, and how long the non-stick effect lasts. The coating is approved and certified food-safe by the Danish Technology Institute. This wok also comes with a wire tempura rack that sits on the rim, allowing you to drain oil from ingredients that you've already cooked and keep them warm.
